We need to continually purge our thoughts because we become what we think. It is not just the lust that we must clean out, but also low self-esteem, pride, arrogance, hidden jealousy, and much more. Most of us come to the Lord damaged, dead spiritually, damaged emotionally and decaying physically. When He saved you, He made your dead spirit alive. Then He began the massive renovation necessary to repair your damaged thoughts about life, about others, and about yourself. Beneath our pasted-on smiles and pleasant greetings, we alone here the rumblings of the midnight shift. God is constantly excommunicating leathal thoughts that hinder us from grasping the many faceted callings and giftings buried beneath the rubble of our minds. We came to Him as condemned buildings, and He reopened the places that satan thought would never be inhabited. The Holy Spirit moved in. And He brought His hammers and saws with Him. Our mine is continually being constructed by the Holy Spirit.
